| NEW SPEC DEACTIVATED .45CAL COLT 1911A1 PISTOL one of the best examples we have seen for a long time, a nice 'untouched' 1940 dated colt, showing a nice patina to it's original metal work finish, with standard wear to fitted plastic grips. The serial number dates this piece to 1940, manufactured by Colt, so has the correct matching slide and only sub 5000 were ever made during this year within the serial number range, a good honest example with crisp clear markings, a very scarce Colt 1911A1 to find in this condition.
