| NEW SPEC DEACTIVATED 7.62MM NATO SMLE/2A1 RIFLE in good used condition showing signs of use to the original black painted metalwork finish with minor dings/dents to original woodwork. These’s unusual smle’s were manufactured in 7.62mm caliber by Ishapore of India and are indeed the last service bolt action rifles in Nato caliber in use order than sniper rifles. This example is the 2A1 version as the sights are ranged to 800 yards, dated 1968 and complete with correct canvas sling and full matching numbers including the stock, deactivated with full working actions and can be stripped, deactivated by M Priest in 2017. Matching numbers, front pile swivel and round cocking piece. Woodwork is original to the rifle and shows signs of use, no cracks or splits just natural wear. Comes complete with X5 inert rounds, pull through, brass oil bottle and the much rare type canvas sling, these were converted Lewis machine gun slings made to adapt military rifles.
